According to AAP, the Aussie's band's lead singer Jimmy Barnes announced on stage at their Deniliquin Ute Muster concert on Saturday night that they looked forward to connecting with their fans again.
Barnes said: "There's a core Cold Chisel audience, who are petrol heads in a way. They're a bit more adventurous."
Early last week, the group performed a rehearsal concert just for family and friends, plus a smaller gig for 1,500 fans. Barnes said of the performance: "We made some mistakes, but it was good. They were really die-hard fans so it was lovely to see their faces."
He also revealed that the band are "not back together and [they] haven't broken up", adding that they are in the "ideal situation" because they can "play whenever [they] feel like it".
