Radiohead denied Chicago park gig

Radiohead have reportedly been denied the opportunity to perform in the Chicago Millennium Park.
The Oxford-based band requested permission to play the venue on the 19th and 20th of June, but were told that the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra hold their rehearsals at the same time and the park was nervous about noise pollution.
This has caused rifts in City officials, who claim to be eager for more public performances and the revenue they would provide, but also have to be cautious of the effects of noise pollution.
