The 24-year-old said that she's embarrassed herself singing karaoke because she loses control of her voice if she drinks alcohol.
She told The Daily Telegraph: "The problem is, if I've had a couple of ciders, I can't sing at all. I've got no control. It's really, really bad. People are all excited to see me, and then it's like, 'Oh, she's dreadful'."
Church went on to explain that she built a karaoke bar in her back garden so that she could sing whenever she wanted.
She said: "It was awesome - proper karaoke machine, two TVs, lasers, smoke machines, disco balls, fag machine, jukebox. I could sing to my heart's content as badly as the vodka decreed."
Church also admitted that her karaoke singing prompted her to release her latest album Back To Scratch.
She added: "My voice gets me through anything. If I'm having a crappy day, I just sing it away. I don't know what I would do if I lost my voice. I'd be a shell of a person. So I thought it was time to get out of the karaoke bar and up my game."
