Lambert announced on Tuesday that he would make "minor adjustments" to his upcoming concert in Malaysia out of respect to the country's government.
"I don't think it's that out of the question especially if you go into someone else's country," Bass told Radar Online about Lambert's move.
The American Idol alum has reportedly agreed to restrictions against jumping, kissing and stripping on stage.
Former 'N Sync star Bass added: "You have to respect the laws, the beliefs... you might not have to believe it yourselves but it is all about respect and I think there's a time and place for everything and if it's not the time and place for that then you should change your act."
