The band released a cryptic statement to reveal the news, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Although we regret to inform you that Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 will continue to be delayed indefinitely, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 will be released on time as originally planned in spring of 2011," the statement reads.
Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 was originally scheduled to be released this autumn but was delayed due to band member Adam Yauch's treatment for cancer.
It is currently unknown whether Part 2 will overlap with Part 1 or whether they will be two entirely separate recordings.
