The annual festive music gig will be held at London's O2 arena on December 4 and 5.
The news was revealed by breakfast show presenters Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon live on air this morning.
"I can't wait to start revealing the lineup for this year's Jingle Bell Ball," Vaughan said.
"I don't have the confirmed names yet, because I can never keep them to myself! I do know that it's set to be the best Capital event yet!"
Station chief Ashley Tabor added: "Once again, Capital FM will be bringing the biggest names in hit music to London's O2 arena and judging by the response from listeners already, tickets are going to be in huge demand!"
The pair will unveil the first set of acts performing at this year's event on Monday, October 25 at 7am.
Last year's gig saw performances from Miley Cyrus, JLS, Sugababes and Lady GaGa.
The Ball supports Capital's flagship charity Help A London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.
