A total of 750 copies of Mr Rotten's Scrapbook by the PiL frontman will be published and are available now for pre-order at a price of £379.
In a handwritten preface, Lydon said: "This is my book. It is a scrapbook. It has pictures and writings and X-rays. It has people in it. People that have had an effect on my life, but not all the people, because there are too many to ever catalogue.
"I would like to thank everyone I ever met and anyone I don't remember. In fact, and scrapbook I would like to thank, anyone. PS. Dear Gandhi, please just because I never met you. Please don't take offence. Love John."
The book will contain a 12" picture disc vinyl containing "Mr Rotten’s Nursery Rhymes" alongside live recordings from PiL's 2009 tour.
