Justin Bieber has confirmed that he will release an acoustic album next month.

The 'Baby' star had previously hinted to fans on Twitter that he was considering making an "unplugged album" in time for the holiday season.

Writing on his Facebook account yesterday, the teenage singer confirmed that an acoustic LP is being planned, writing: "I'm not hinting any more. Gonna release an UNPLUGGED Acoustic album next month with some new stuff too.

"Holidays are coming and time to take it back to how it started. Singing with a guitar. THanks (sic)."

Bieber is also gearing up for the launch of his debut 3D movie next year, Never Say Never, a documentary-style project directed by Jon Chu that will explore his start as a musician and subsequent rise to fame.
