The actress, who portrays singer Kelly Canter in the upcoming film Country Strong, is due to perform at the awards ceremony on November 10, according to The AP.
Paltrow will reportedly be accompanied by country star Vince Gill for a performance of 'Country Strong', the title track from the film's soundtrack.
Other musicians scheduled to perform at the show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena include Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.
People reports that Country Strong's director Shana Feste has said that Paltrow took the film's music "very, very seriously".
Feste said: "She's not who you'd think of when you think country singer. Your mind doesn't immediately go to Gwyneth Paltrow, but I knew that she had the acting ability to pull it off."
Country Strong is due to be released in the US on January 7, while the soundtrack will be available in stores from October 26.
