The singer and actress also revealed that the band, who are currently on hiatus, will only reunite as a full five-piece out of respect for their fans.
"If we're going to do it, we should all do it together - that's what the fans would want," Yahoo quotes her as saying.
"I don't think it would be the same if one of us wasn't there!"
Harding, who has starred in a number of films since the band's break, also said that the group will reform when everyone is satisfied with their solo projects.
She added: "I think when everyone's happy that they've done well with their solo projects, it will be great to reform."
Since their break began last year, Cheryl Cole is now preparing to release her second solo album Messy Little Raindrops, Kimberly Walsh presents 4Music's Suck My Pop, Nicola Roberts has launched her own make-up range and Nadine Coyle is preparing to release her solo album Insatiable.
Cole recently insisted that Girls Aloud will eventually reform but "need a bit more time."
