Promoting their latest PETA anti-fur poster, the twins told reporters that they are "a few months" away from releasing new material.
The duo's previous two albums - The Secret Life Of... and Hook Me Up - were both multi-platinum selling successes in Australia, and they both reached number two in the ARIA album chart.
