The group have now completed work on the follow-up to their 2009 second album Which Bitch? and will release 'Sunday' from the LP as a free download next week.
"We were proud of Which Bitch? but it wasn't well received and didn't get played much on radio, we were gutted," lead singer Kyle Falconer told NME. "The new album will sound much cleaner."
The band have been working with Youth on producing the record rather than Owen Morris, who produced their first two albums.
Falconer recently featured on Mark Ronson's latest single 'The Bike Song', singing lead vocals as well as appearing in the music video.
