The Crazy Heart star teamed up with Ryan Bingham, the singer-songwriter who penned the movie's music, to write a number of tracks for the upcoming LP, says Showbiz 411.
T-Bone Burnett, who produced the music from Crazy Heart, will also work on the new songs.
EMI/Blue Note Records is behind the release.
