The famed Oxford Street venue currently faces closure due to soaring rent prices. The campaign aims to raise enough money to pay off creditors, which would enable the club to stay open as a non-profit venue.
"This is really bad news if another great venue is threatened with closure," Jagger told This Is London. "There's a real need for these places, they have a connection with the past.
"What is important is that you have places where bands can cut their teeth and places of a certain intimacy and size that new bands can experiment," Jagger added.
The 100 Club is famous for being one of the main venues of the '70s punk movement, housing gigs from bands including the Sex Pistols and The Jam..
Others who have already lent their support to the campaign include Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie and Razorlight's Johnny Borrell.
