Mini Viva confirm split

The duo, made up of singers Frankee Connolly and Britt Love, scored a top ten hit with their debut single 'Left My Heart In Tokyo' last year. However, follow-up singles 'I Wish' and 'One Touch' both failed to crack the top 40 - charting at numbers 73 and 114 respectively.
In June, Love told fans that the future of the group - created by production house Xenomania - was uncertain. However, this afternoon she confirmed that they have called it a day.
"First off all we would like to apologise for not being able to tell you sooner what was going on with Mini Viva," she wrote. "It was something we had to decide for ourselves first and of course it was a big decision.
"Both of us felt like the time was up for Mini Viva. We had tried so much and so had everyone who was supporting us. But sometimes things just don’t work out the way you would like them to."
She continued: "We would just like to take this time to thank every single one of you for supporting us on our journey! We could not have asked for more loyal fans than you guys!"
Love asked fans to continue to support herself and Connolly as they embark "along our different paths".
"Everything we did as apart of Mini Viva we are incredibly proud of!" she added.
