Lady Antebellum have described 2010 as "the most incredible year" of their lives.

The country trio were honoured at last night's CMA Awards in Nashville, picking up gongs including 'Vocal Group Of The Year' and 'Single Of The Year' for their hit track 'Need You Now'.

"I think if nothing was to happen for the rest of our lives we would be so happy and we just appreciate feeling the love tonight from our peers and being able to celebrate," singer Hillary Scott told reporters backstage in a video posted by The AP.

The star had previously thanked bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood in the group's acceptance speech for 'Vocal Group Of The Year', saying: "This year has been unbelievable and I can't imagine two better people to enjoy the ride with."

Kelley also thanked brother Josh, who attended the event with wife Katherine Heigl, for "making [him] move to Nashville six years ago".
