The 'For Your Entertainment' star will release the five-song venture, called Acoustic Live!, through 19 Recordings / RCA Records on December 6.
It will contain stripped-down versions of his tracks 'Whataya Want From Me', 'Music Again', 'Aftermath' and 'Soaked'. A special version of 'Mad World', which he first performed during his time on American Idol, will also be included.
It will be available to download online, while a press release states that a "limited number of physical copies" will also be available through his official website.
Lambert - who first teased on Twitter that an acoustic album was in the works last month - has spent the past few months on his 'Glam Nation Tour' which has covered the US, Asia and Australia so far and is currently playing in Europe.
