The Strokes finish recording new album

The frontman was seemingly asked by a follower on Twitter about the progress on the follow-up to 2006's First Impressions Of Earth.
Casablancas responded: "Still not going to be out for a few months-mixing, etc, but JUST finally finished it yesterday actually!? (sic)"
The singer-songwriter recently admitted that the record had been "a labour" after the LP was pushed back to a predicted spring 2011 release.
