Winfrey, who announced earlier this year that she would be hosting two shows from the Sydney Opera House, asked Bon Jovi to put on a show at the city's Star City for VIPs including Bob Geldof and U2.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the performance will coincide with the band's Australian tour and the venue's relaunch after a multi-million dollar renovation.
Other invited guests include Cate Blanchett, Keith Urban, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman.
