The singer and Strictly Come Dancing judge, who often rapped as part of former girlband Mis-Teeq, said that she is happy to be returning to her roots on her forthcoming solo album, The Entertainer.
"I’m so happy to MC again," she told the Daily Star.
"We didn’t want to do it on my last album because we wanted to show people I could sing. It felt like the right time on this album.
"I was transported back to being a 21-year-old again. It was great."
Dixon releases her new single 'Radio' and The Entertainer on November 29.
