Trace Adkins to host American Country Awards

Fox has confirmed that the 'Hillbilly Bone' star will front the upcoming ceremony, taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and also perform on the night.
Easton Corbin, Steel Magnolia and Uncle Kracker have also been added to the lineup for the awards show. Previously announced performers include Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Reba and Josh Turner. Lady Antebellum, Jewel, Bret Michaels and Ty Murray will be among the presenters.
Lady Antebellum and Easton Corbin will enter the evening with the most nominations at seven each, while Carrie Underwood has been recognised in six categories and Miranda Lambert and Josh Turner will battle it out in five groups.
Fans can still cast their votes for 'Artist Of The Year' at the event's official website. The American Country Awards air December 6 from 8pm ET/PT on Fox.
