The 'I Dreamed A Dream' star launched the international hunt earlier this year and chose Amber Stassi from New York as her winner in August.
They sang a rendition of 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' backed by the Hudson River Children's Choir on this morning's edition of the Today show on NBC as part of the Toyota Concert Series.
Before the performance Boyle had described Stassi's voice as "soulful", while Stassi had said that winning the competition, which had a prize of recording with Boyle on her new album The Gift, was a "dream come true".
Boyle also performed 'O Holy Night' and her version of Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day' on the morning broadcast.
The Gift followed its predecessor I Dreamed A Dream in topping the charts in the US and UK on its release, making Boyle the first female artist to ever hold both spots twice in one year.
She will also perform on NBC's Christmas In Rockefeller Centre special which airs November 30 at 8/7c.
