The singer, who has performed with Elton John and composer Burt Bacharach, said that she will release her debut effort Seasons Of My Soul Stateside next year, although she doesn't expect people to turn up to her gigs.
"I’m going to start promotion in the US next year which will involve doing lots of TV - that’s pretty scary," she told the Daily Star.
"I find live shows really scary. When I walk out on to the stage I am genuinely surprised to see people have turned up.
"I think people expect singers to have special powers that stop them from being terrified, but I don’t have them. I just have to push myself out there."
