Speaking to the Daily Star, the Outta This World group revealed that the rapper has recorded extra vocals for their track 'Eyes Wide Shut'.
Tempah will also reportedly perform with the band as they tour their current album.
"Tinie is a good friend of ours," Marvin Humes told the paper. "We grew up in the same area of Plumstead in south London. "And while I didn't know him when we were younger, I knew of him as he was breaking through."
Humes continued: "He's the best rapper in the country and the only person we wanted to work with so it would be silly not to make this a single."
The group hit number one with their previous release 'Love You More', which served as this year's official Children In Need single.
Humes added: "Obviously if Jay-Z wanted to be on a track we wouldn't say no, either, but our UK fan base is what’s important to us.”
The group will host their own ITV1 special This Is JLS on December 11.
