The result marks the singer's third time at the chart summit, following 'So What' in 2008 and her Lady Marmalade collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Mya and Lil' Kim.
Behind Pink, Katy Perry leaps from sixth to second place with 'Firework', while last week's number one - Rihanna's 'Only Girl (In The World)' - slips to three.
Elsewhere in the top ten, Rihanna's 'What's My Name?' jumps five slots to eight, The Black Eyed Peas' 'The Time (Dirty Bit)' climbs from 13 to nine, and Bruno Mars's 'Grenade' zooms from 17 to ten.
Further down the chart, Enrique Iglesias debuts at 18 with 'Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)' and Michael Jackson's 'Hold My Hand' vaults 84 to 50.
Following the release of Kanye West's fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, 'Dark Fantasy' enters at 60, while Diddy Dirty Money's 'Coming Home' sits a place behind at 61.
Christina Aguilera's 'Show Me How You Burlesque' from her Burlesque movie debuts at 70, and David Guetta and Rihanna's 'Who's That Chick?' lands at 73.
