A Rolling Stones gig in Rio de Janeiro is due to draw almost two million people.
The free concert will have almost 10,000 police officers on duty for the show, which is part of the band's 'Bigger Bang' world tour. The city is paying £432,000 for the gig, which takes place only a week previous to the carnival. It is the first time the Stones have performed in Brazil for free.
City health secretary Flavio Tanure added: "This is the biggest live show that has ever occurred in the world."
