David Hasselhoff has been forced to postpone his Australian tour after winning a part in a new TV project.
The Baywatch star had scheduled a set of shows in Sydney and Melbourne this month, but has had to cancel them due to his new project.
On his official tour website, Hasselhoff told fans who had bought tickets for the 'Ready For Action' tour: "Thank you for your understanding and patience and we look forward to seeing you at the rescheduled performances."
He explained: "[The project has] been in discussion for some months [but] the filming schedule has only recently been confirmed."
Hasselhoff added that he intended to honour tour dates later this month.
