The singer, who is gearing up to release her seventh studio set in March 2011, revealed the news via her official Twitter page.
She wrote: "Had such an amazing photoshoot with Mario Testino today. So fun! -Britney."
Testino is known for shooting album covers for Kylie Minogue, Lady GaGa, Janet Jackson and Madonna.
It was reported last week that Spears's forthcoming LP will be influenced by the UK music scene, and features producers Labrinth, Rusko and Chase 7 Status.
Rusko said: "It's a bit random, but I'm so excited by the challenge. One track turned out amazing. It's proper hard dubstep."
