The rock legend hopes to sell the instruments to raise money for Crossroads, the Antigua drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre that Clapton founded.
One of the guitars Clapton offered for the auction is a black Fender 'Eric Clapton Signature' Stratocaster that he played in 2005 at the Cream reunion concerts, reports Rolling Stone.
The instrument is expected to fetch $20,000 to $30,000.
Jeff Beck and Joe Bonamassa have also donated guitars to the auction.
Auction items will go on display at Bonhams in London starting on January 23. The sale will take place on February 9.
