REM confirm album release date

REM have confirmed the release date of their 15th studio album Collapse Into Now.

The follow-up to 2008's Accelerate will be available from March 7, 2011.

As previously announced, the album has been produced by Jacknife Lee and features guest contributions from Eddie Vedder, Peaches, Lenny Kaye and Patti Smith.

The LP's opening track 'Discoverer' will be made available as a free download from the band's official REM HQ website.
