Usher accused of plagiarising 'The Simpsons'

A YouTube mash-up of lines from the R&B star's track 'OMG' and a novelty Christmas song penned by Homer Simpson in 2003 episode 'Dude, Where's My Ranch?' has been viewed over 230,000 times after DJs on Mississippi radio station Y101 first noticed the similarity.
The offending line from Usher's former chart topper reads "Honey got a booty like pow, pow, pow. Honey got some boobies like wow, oh wow," while Simpson's gag song recorded seven years prior includes the lyrics: "Christmas in December, wow wow wow. Give me tons of presents, now now now."
The Daily Mail additionally reports that Usher was sued for plagiarism last month by aspiring singer Wadena Pyatt, who claimed to be the the real author of his 2004 song 'Caught Up'.
