The actress and singer, who was released from her 90-day stint in rehab for substance abuse yesterday, is said to be keen to team up with the British duo, who recently scored a top ten hit in the US with their track 'Bulletproof'.
A source told The Mirror: "Lindsay wants to be seen as a credible artist in the film and music worlds so is putting together a wish list of people, including La Roux, to help her move from Z-list films and a less than cool music career."
Lohan's comeback plans were sparked after her official website was recently relaunched with a stylish photo and a remix of La Roux's 'In For The Kill' playing in the background.
The star has already released two studio albums, Speak and A Little More Personal (Raw) in 2004 and 2005 respectively, while her third LP Spirit In The Dark was eventually shelved in 2008.
