Dorff: 'Britney music video was dark'

Dorff, who has featured in movies including Blade and Somewhere, portrayed Spears's boyfriend in the clip, which he said was initially intended to include the star taking an overdose.
"There was an original video to this which was a lot darker," he told MTV. "MTV I think made them chop it a little bit for air time."
"It was a much more suicide-type video with pills and wine. It was a little dark for the fans. She originally died in the video, but in the [finished clip] she wakes up at the end."
At the time of clip's release in 2004, Spears was forced to release a statement after comments that the video glorified suicide.
