The singer, who is gearing up for the release of his second studio album Transition later this year, has collaborated with the 'Knock You Down' star on the record, which he described as a "cheerful" experience.
"I recorded a lot of the album in LA, in the studio. It was nice there, sunny and cheerful," he told The Sun.
"Transition is me starting again, it's got the swag and the flair that got me noticed in the first place. But it gives an insight into my life now."
He continued: "I've changed, I'm a lot more free. It's got the old and the new, a combination of all the elements that make me."
The 'Diamond Rings' rapper's record also features duets with US star Treyz Songz, Skepta and Chris Brown on the LP's lead single, 'Flying High'.
Transition is slated for release in March.
