The 'Devil Woman' singer is said to be working with the band - made up of Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy - on a track for Richard's new album of Motown duets, The Express reports.
A source said: "Cliff and members of the Jackson 5 could be one of the collaborations for the album. Hopefully they'll be recording something in the spring."
The album is reportedly being produced by David Gest, a close friend of the Jackson family.
Richard's last studio album, 2010's Bold As Brass, peaked at number three on the UK album chart.
