Plan B 'staying sober until Brit Awards'

Plan B has vowed to quit drinking until this year's Brit Awards, so that he can "unleash" himself at the ceremony.

The 'Prayin' rapper, who is nominated for three gongs at the February event, has chosen to ditch the booze during his current Australian tour so that he can celebrate properly upon his return to the UK.

He told the Daily Star: "We're going to go to Australia and work hard out there before the Brits, so when I come back I want to party and unleash myself.

"We won't party out there 'cos we're professionals. We'll do the shows then come back and get drunk. I hope there will be time for me to chill out as there's two days off between each show so I can go and see some kangaroos and feed the koalas."

He added: "If I don't win one, so what? I know there are people out there who love what I'm doing. It's nice to win awards as it cements that, but I'm going to have a good time whether I win or not."
