The Raggamuffin show, now renamed the Reggae for Recovery - Flood Relief Benefit Concert, will feature performers such as Blige, Jimmy Cliff and Maxi Priest and will take place on January 30.
Event organiser Andrew McManus told AAP: "Let's hope we can raise a substantial amount of money to ease some of the pain and to aid in the rebuilding of Queensland."
Ticket prices for the event have been reduced and a tenth of the profits will be donated to the disaster fund.
