The band, who are currently recording their eighth studio record, were praised by producer Pete Boxsta for their "fantastic" voices while recording new material at London's Matrix studios.
He tweeted: "Recording with Sugababes @ Matrix Studios - sounding awesome! All three girls completely killed their parts in the first 3 or 4 takes - fantastic singers! (sic)".
It marks the second time the group have worked with the hitmaker in the last twelve months, after he tweeted in June 2010 that he was producing music with a "drums and guitars" sound for the band.
Boxsta, who has co-produced a number of the band's previous tracks including 'Freak Like Me' and 'Denial', has also worked with girlband Trinity Stone - a three-piece group that featured newest Sugababe Jade Ewen.
A budget-price best of album by the group will reportedly be released next month.
