Pete Wentz 'ready to tour with family'

Pete Wentz has confessed that he is looking forward to getting back on the road.

The rocker told PopEater that he would love to take new band Black Cards on tour as it would allow him to play music for his fans again as well as travel the world with wife Ashlee Simpson and their 2-year-old son Bronx.

"The great thing right now is that my family is very mobile and are able to tour with me. And I think that's the only thing that would've been a hurdle. But the fact they're kind of able to go, I want to be back out there," he explained.

"And it's really cool to be able to see the world and to do it on a record company's dime. So I'd like to kind of do that and I'd like to show my son the world as well."

Wentz went on to reveal that he hopes to release new tracks with the band in the upcoming months.

"[We've] been pushing pretty hard for the spring. Gonna finish, I think, two songs by the end of the week and hopefully one will be the first single if I have any say in it," he said.

"And then the spring and hopefully touring full time and getting back out there and into it."
