Patrick Wolf rejoins Patti Smith live band

The singer-songwriter played violin with proto-punk legend Smith during a 90-minute set at London's Union Chapel last March. Her backing band also featured guitarist Tony Shanahan and My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields.
In a post on Twitter, Wolf confirmed: "Just tuning up my harp and viola, been asked by patti smith to join her again as part of her backing band for the next few u.k dates! X p w (sic)"
Smith - who played at London's Royal Geographical Society last night - performs at St Giles In The Fields Church, London tomorrow, at De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill On Sea on January 28 and Suffolk's Aldeburgh Festival on January 29.
Wolf this week unveiled the video for his new single 'The City', which will be released on March 14.
Last month, Wolf confirmed that the follow-up to 2009's The Bachelor would be called Lupercalia.
