Adele, Ke$ha lead midweek charts

Ke$ha and Adele are on course to top the single and album charts this Sunday.

Adele, who released her sophomore album 21 this week, is outselling the rest of the top ten after shifting 100,000 copies of the record in two days.

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars's debut Doo Wops & Hooligans falls to second place, while Adele's debut set 19 jumps from eight to number four.

Alfie Boe’s Bring Him Home is on course to enter the top ten, leaping 12 places from 20 to eight, while Imela May's Mayhem advances from 15 to ten.

On the singles chart, Ke$ha has stormed into pole position with 'We R Who We R', while Bruno Mars's 'Grenade' and Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' complete the top three.

Other new entries on the tally include Chase & Status's 'Blind Faith' at number four, 'Post Break Up Sex' by The Vaccines at 19 and Chris Brown's 'Yeah 3X' at 32.

The official single and album charts are announced on Sunday between 4pm and 7pm.
