According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jive was forced to confirm the release details after a leaked memo sheet inadvertently revealed information about the album's marketing campaign.
The document also detailed a number of producers who have worked on the album in addition to the previously-known Dr Luke and Max Martin, including the likes of Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, and Bloodshy.
The album's lead single 'Hold It Against Me' entered at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 last week. A music video for the track is expected to be released soon.
