The band began a temporary hiatus at the beginning of 2010, during which time frontman Brandon Flowers released his first solo album Flamingo.
According to NME, The Killers will return at Lollapalooza in April alongside acts including Kanye West, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and 30 Seconds To Mars.
Following their performance at the festival, Flowers has confirmed that the band will begin work on their fourth studio album.
