The Florence and the Machine singer will perform 'Best Original Song' nominee 'If I Rise' from 127 Hours alongside composer A.R. Rahman, reports E! Online.
She will be filling in for the track's co-writer Dido, who - along with her brother Rollo Armstrong - is unable to attend the ceremony.
Welch is also scheduled to perform later that night at Elton John and David Furnish's annual bash to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The 83rd annual Academy Awards will be held on February 27 in Los Angeles.
