The Outkast member released his first solo effort Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty last year to both critical and commercial success, and is currently working on the album's follow-up.
"[I'm] five or six songs deep," Big Boi told Billboard.com. "I'm in the studio working on some new material, producing a couple records for outside artists and on tour."
"When I'm not on the road I'm in the studio, rockin' shows and droppin' flow."
Big Boi co-headlined last week's EA Sports Madden Bowl with Cee Lo Green, with whom he is also planning a joint tour to begin later this year.
When asked about a potential Outkast reunion, however, the rapper simply claimed his plans are "top secret".
