In an interview with DJ Tim Westwood, Minaj contended that her 'Roman's Revenge' collaborator has learned from his past mistakes.
"He's like a new person," she said. "He's nicer, he's like more calm."
The musician added: "I guess when you are not getting high you have to deal with reality and I think he likes his reality now."
The 'Right Thru Me' singer also revealed that she has been impressed by the tracks Wayne has recorded for his upcoming LP Tha Carter IV.
"I've already heard some of the beats… As a matter of fact, the other day I went to tell this producer, 'Yo, hold that beat for me', and he said Wayne already took it and it hurt my heart," she joked.
Wayne has score eight US top 20 albums since the release of his debut record Tha Block Is Hot in 1999.
