The '80s singer enlisted Gallagher's Beady Eye bandmate Andy Bell to play bass on a track from his new record, titled Adam Ant Is The Blueblack Hussar In Marrying The Gunner's Daughter.
According to The Sun, Ant claimed that Gallagher attempted to ban him from using the song, saying that there would be "trouble" if his demands were ignored.
However, Ant - born Stuart Goddard - has decided to keep the track on his album, branding Gallagher's behaviour “unacceptable”.
"I've always hated stroppy behaviour, like that of the Gallaghers," said Ant. "Not the older one, Noel, he's okay, but Liam... his attitude, well, it's unacceptable.
"He told me there'd be trouble if I put the song on my record, but nobody tells me what to do. Nobody.
"This is a personal thing between me and him, and we will deal with it man-to-man."
