The group - made up of underground dubstep producers Benga, Skream and Artwork - said that they are proud to have broken into commercial music and will continue to build on their sound.
"People can't get their heads around the idea that mass appeal can be okay," Skream told the Daily Star.
"It’s uncool to be big, I've never been able to understand that. Music is music, that's it. I blame the internet generation which allows people to make comments about everything."
He continued: "It's so easy to say what you want online now, especially if you're angry."
Discussing their recent lives shows, he admitted: "We didn't like the support shows we did with Deadmau5 at Earls Court Arena. We could barely hear our own music."
Artwork said: "Certain people want their music to be twice as loud as the support act. That's just life."
Skream also revealed the trio's hopes to take their sound to the US, adding: "Dubstep is huge out there, especially on a dance and club level. We aren't very good dancers - that's why we stand still on stage. Now we're about to play [the] Coachella Festival in the States and that's gonna be massive for us."
