The singer, who released the record 11 weeks ago, jumps from number three to one with sales of 45,000, Billboard reports.
The feat marks the longest time an album has taken to reach the chart summit since Ray Charles's Genius Loves Company took 25 weeks to reach the top spot in 2005.
The chart boost also takes Minaj past the one million sales mark, having sold a total of 1,035,000 albums since the November 22 release.
Elsewhere, last week's chart header Amos Lee slips to 26 with Mission Bell, while Christian rock group Red land at two with Until We Have Faces.
Ricky Martin debuts at three with his Spanish record Musica + Alma + Sexo, Rihanna's Loud vaults 13 to five and Pink's Greatest Hits...So Far!!! leaps 11 to nine.
