Earlier this month, the band's frontman James Murphy revealed that the April 2 show would be the band's last live performance, citing a move to new projects.
However, Murphy has now announced via the band's website that he has added four new live dates towards the end of March at the Terminal 5 venue.
Murphy claims that he added the new dates to ensure the band's real fans had a chance to see them live, after noticing that ticket sites had hugely inflated the prices of the Madison Square Garden Show.
"I bought two tickets to my own show for three times the value like an idiot to see if real tickets showed up," Murphy writes. "My family got burned. It was, to say the least, weird."
The frontman went on to describe the Terminal 5 shows as "the farewell run-up to the last dance".
LCD Soundsystem play Terminal 5 between March 28 and March 31, followed by their final performance at Madison Square Garden on April 2.
